Xlerate strengthens its SaaS offering with Fronde Always
Xlerate Technologies Ltd has appointed Fronde Always to provide mission
critical support, enterprise grade security and availability for its extensive
portfolio of SaaS (software-as-a-service) solutions.
Xlerate is a New Zealand based provider of real-time Mobile Resource Management
solutions. Their solutions are offered as an OEM offering, to enhance existing
applications, or as a packaged vertical market SaaS solution, such as the
Xlerate Fleet Productivity Solution.
Fronde will assist Xlerate with the rapid development and market deployment of
new service offerings for consumers and businesses including managed network
mash-ups, where Web services are combined with traditional offerings, through
a SaaS model, and delivered across virtually any type of network or device.
With Fronde Always and Xlerate, customers using a SaaS application can be
assured that they will have the level of availability and security appropriate
to their businesss needs, while saving on the expense and effort required to
house, deliver, and maintain an application.
Our vision is to build a portfolio of software delivered via a SaaS model.
This approach will mean that our small sized customers will be able to use our
solutions as easily as our larger ones, and demonstrate a strong return on
investment. Frondes extensive knowledge and experience in SaaS offerings will
help us achieve this, says Xlerate CEO, Manoj Dolli.
Fronde is uniquely positioned to add real value to SaaS providers, such as
Xlerate, says Pete Thomson, General Manager of Fronde Always.
We have extensive experience in the design, development and integration of
applications for SaaS environments. This, combined with our hosting and
enterprise management capabilities, enables us to bring maximum value to
partners like Xlerate and enables them to focus on the business of enhancing
their solution and taking to market, adds Thomson.
